Qingna Technology was established in November 2022 and has two subsidiaries, Huzhou Qingna New Energy and Anhui Qingna Energy Technology. The company focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of sodium ion batteries. It has built a 200MWh quasi mass production line at the Huzhou base, and its main product, large cylindrical sodium ion batteries, has been shipped in bulk.
Qingna Technology has established a top technology team, including a professor of industry education integration from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a PhD in Materials Science from Tsinghua University, and the former Chief Scientist of BAIC. It has also collaborated with research institutes such as Beijing Graphene Research Institute, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Jiangnan University, and Lanzhou University to develop and reserve multiple core patent technologies for sodium batteries.
Qingna Technology adheres to the technical route of parallel layered oxide and polyanion, and has successfully developed the S40140RL all pole ear large cylindrical steel shell sodium ion battery cell. The energy density of this product can reach 120Wh/kg, with a cycle life of over 6000cy. It has achieved comprehensive leadership in range, safety performance, low-temperature performance, rate performance, and batch production stability. At the same time, the latest generation of layered oxygen batteries reserved by the company have an energy density of up to 145Wh/kg; A low-cost polyanion sodium ion battery launched for the energy storage market, with an energy density of 100Wh/kg and a cycle life of over 8000cy.
Qingna Technology actively lays out the entire industry chain of "positive electrode battery module whole package system" and has reached strategic cooperation with key raw material suppliers and equipment suppliers, attracting multiple listed companies and industry giants as venture capital and strategic shareholders. At present, the Anhui Qingna project with an investment of 5 billion yuan by the company has started construction. It is expected that the first phase of the 2GWh production line will be completed and put into operation in 2024, which will completely solve the company's production capacity bottleneck and help Qingna Technology become a world leading provider of sodium electric energy solutions.
